This was put together from one of our best customers who ownes a small sized tub with high usage. You may adjust this to fit your usage.
Every Week:
- Add
16 oz. of 3% hydrogen peroxide, poured into filter intake (once per week if
lots of users that week) 1 every 2 weeks

check
pH: aim for 7.4 – 8.6; add 1-2 tbsp of: (a) Spa Up / pure baking soda to
raise the pH or (b) Spa down /pure ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) to lower the pH;
No need to be too aggressive here – see where tub is leveling out
Every 2 Weeks:
- WASH
THE FILTER by spraying down filter with power hose first, then pouring 16 oz. of hydrogen peroxide directly onto filter, then
cover filter in fresh water in a bucket – soak for 1-8 hours
Add Every Month:
- Add
1 large capful of Spa Perfect

WASH
THE FILTER by spraying down filter with power hose first, then pouring 16 oz. of hydrogen peroxide directly onto filter, then
cover filter in fresh water in a bucket – soak for 1-2 hours

Soak
clean filters in 1 capful Spa Perfect in a bucket of warm water to remove body
oils leave for 2-3 hours. Hose off with fresh water. Place back in your tub.
ON OCCASSION if cloudy water, or after heavy user load:
- Remove
mineral bag and leave in a bucket of fresh water

Add
2 tbsp of Non- chlorine Shock (monopersulfate – MPS) into tub and run a 20 min.
cycle of the jets with the cover off

Replace
mineral bag into tub AFTERWARDS

Add
one capful of Spa Perfect the next day (always on a different day than shock)
if needed

CLEAN
FILTER after the shock treatment and Spa Perfect done the next day

WASH
THE FILTER monthly(within a couple of days of Shock/Spa Perfect) by spraying
down filter with power hose first, then
pouring 16 oz. of hydrogen
peroxide directly onto filter, then cover filter in fresh water in a bucket –
soak for 1-8 hours, then let it dry; leave in storage bin for next filter
change
EVERY 3-4 months (depending on how water is looking)
- Remove
mineral bag and soak overnight (12-24 hours) in 5 gallons of fresh WARM water
with 1/2 cup of Ancient Sea salt and 2 tbsp of baking soda

UNPLUG
then drain the tub

SCRUB
INSIDE of tub, jets, and spa cover with Hydrogen peroxide, then rinse well with
fresh water

Fill
tub with fresh cold water (IMPORTANT: by placing hose directly into empty
filter hole to fill), add 1 cup of Ancient sea salt, Put in a clean filter
-
Plug
in power to tub then 32 oz. of hydrogen peroxide, run the jets for 20 min to
mix well. The heater will kick in after this cycle, set circulation mode (see
manual on how to do this –use the 3 times per day, 2 hour heating mode – i.e.,)
- Place
mineral bag into bottom of tub when temperature reaches at least 94 degrees
(most tub takes just under 24 hour to reach 104 degrees)
