NEW TUBS – Start up
If your tub is new, we also recommend a more intensive detox prior to use. We recommend using a chlorine shock to kill any bacterial or mold followed by Spa Purge. This is a proactive step but not mandatory prior to installing to ahhNatural. Spa purge is a deep cleaning Botanical Enzyme blend. Spa Purge restores spa plumbing to its original condition! Most spas are tested in the factory with water that is continually reused and often contaminates the spa. We have seen many new tub owners’ inherit chronic water and mold issues at the start up. Using this product is a little messy, but well worth the benefit.
Get the best start possible. Use annually to keep your tub fresh and clean.

1. Fill your spa and heat to 95°.
2. Shock with chlorine; use 4X the amount as indicated. Run your jets on high for 2-4 hours with cover open. Let sit until your test strips show no or low chlorine levels.
3. Remove filter. Power hose off and let sun dry completely. Do NOT USE chemical filter cleaner.
4. Pour in Spa purge. Run jets on and off for 20 minutes.
5. Let purge sit for 1 to 3 days. Drain the water, clean the shell, cover and filtercompartment with 3% peroxide.
6. Refill your hot tub. Let the water continue to drain out for 10 minuets to ‘flush’ out any contaminated water. ReInstall your new filter(s).
7. AHHH!!! Install ahhNatural as directed. Soak up the bliss!
